Re: SH: A House Of New Friends (Regina/Emma/Spike/etc)

Sarah brightened when Solomon spoke of the book having a message for her. He probably just didn't want her to find vampires to play with that he couldn't kill, but the book could be a worthy distraction. When he only suggested that she look, though, she pouted.
?
"It probably just wants you. It always talks to you more these days. I swear I think she's flirting with you," she said sullenly of the book,?made of the skin and eye of the first ever Sanderson witch.
?
"You're mine and she needs to know it's hands off."
?
Twisting around in his lap she ran her hands up his chest to prove the point. "Too many girls look at you, and if I were more like you I'd just kill them," she said cheerfully.
"But usually it's just too much bother."
?
She rose and? holding out a hand called, "Book!"
?
The half open door to the bedroom they shared banged against the wall as the book flew out, pages waving like wings as it zoomed toward her open hand. Snatching it up?she plopped?herself back down in Solomon's lap. The book snapped closed, covered in human skin with a brown eye blinking up for an instant at Regina then closing again before flickering open to wink broadly at Solomon when? Sarah lifted it to adjust the angle.
?
"So," she said, gesturing from the winking book to her husband.
?
"This distraction?"

I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
I get along with the voices inside of my head.
