"Looks?like a girl, I think," he murmured.?Not until they slipped inside could he tell for sure, though. And something about her? looked familiar. He remained silent as they approached, leaving the social niceties to his witch as she was so much more of a people person.

He could charm when he wanted, but just now, with all his plans being disrupted by more headache inducing magical?weirdness, he just wasn't feeling charming. Instead he'd stick with the roll of strong silent protector.
