When Rebecca threatened Vlad, Franceska gestured frantically to her but the words were already out. Renfield merely laughed softly, the sound ominous and filled with doom as he'd seen the former master killing for far less. The silence on the other end of the phone was...telling.
?
Shit, Franceska thought darkly. The last thing she needed...they needed was to be caught in the midst of some vampire war. Shit.
?
"Um...So...He really is out of the country," she said at last, hoping Vlad would take the statement of fact as some sort of defense and ease off. Apparently he didn't care as the silence on his end continued to stretch.
?
"Never hard of your brother, but he can die just as easily none the less," he said.
?
?
Franceska reinterpreted the silence then, assuming he'd been asking Mina to ask in turn Mihnea, who was likely on the phone with his mother, to have agreed to accompany Felix so readily.?
?
"Um...Perhaps Mina should talk to Rebecca. Remember how you said she was at times better with the politics."
?
"At times she is, but this is not one of those times, perhaps," Vlad returned coldly.
?
"No I think she and Rebecca would get on famously," Franceska said cheerfully.
?
In truth she didn't give a damn except when she and Renfield were stuck right in the middle of it. Rebecca's comment of Frankenstein had her cringing briefly but she continued to remain silent save for trying to calm things between the 2 potential powers. She had no idea of what Rebecca's people were but neither did Vlad she she wished he'd be a bit more cautious as Mina would have been.
?
?
"If you know if me then you surely know of my power," Vlad told Rebecca coldly.
"The most ancient of vampires has thought to strike me down and they have died just as you can if you defy me."
?
"Different vampires, remember? Lets just keep it mellow," Franceska said hopefully.

I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
I get along with the voices inside of my head.
