Locked Re: Mystic Falls Town Square

"We work for no one," Franceska told Rebecca firmly.
?
"We decided to stupidly, I might ad, work WITH someone...He's sort of a friend."
?
"Would be nice if he wasn't," renfield muttered resentfully half under his breath and Franceska gave him a slight smile of amused agreement before continuing to speak to Rebecca.
"My abilities, while in many ways similar to Renfield's do not come from a vampire. They are in my dna. I've got great genetics," she said proudly, reaching for her cell phone with a scowl.
"Thank you for your explanation. Now excuse me while I include a friend, the vampire you mentioned, before we continue. Because I am going to royally kick his ass," she concluded between gritted teeth.
?
Renfield sipped his wine, darting black gaze moving between the two women. His state seemed to flit between relaxed and pensive as his mind worked over things.
?
"Brothers," Franceska commented when Rebecca mentioned hers.
?
She was waiting for Vlad's phone to stop ringing, impatiently tapping the back of her own with a finger as she held it to her ear.
"Mine can't keep a secret to save his damn life and trust me he's trouble...though decent enough to those he likes."
?
Renfield's expression became half amused half exasperated at mention of Felix and he gave a slight sigh just as Vlad picked up. Franceska didn't bother with speaker yet as she knew Rebecca, being a vampire, could easily hear every word.
?
"Yes, Gargoyle princess? Or would this be Renfield? the two of you sharing a phone does become quite annoying. It is confusing," he complained.
?
"I am going to kill you," Franceska gritted, exasperated.
?
"You think we're friends and you send us to a town where there are freaking vampires so old and powerful they call themselves originals? You never mentioned anything like that."
?
Vlad paused, and that caused Franceska to frown. He never paused, at least when talking to them. He always had a ready comment. Either she'd hit upon something he didn't expect her to discover or...he didn't know what she was talking about.
?

"They're lying. Whoever told you that is lying. Is it the one who attacked you," he demanded.
?
"And turning off their feelings which makes them even worse monsters? Does Mina know about that? She may not want your vampires doing that."
?
She couldn't keep the anger from her tone, though she did try a little. The emotion was growing continuously, though, at the idea he could've sent them in to this place like bloody lambs to the sacrifice for what?
?
And he was pausing again!
?
?
"Vlad," she demanded angrily.
?
"I do not understand most of what you are saying. For us, yes it is easier to turn off certain feelings and succumb to others, but each is a matter of temperament from my understanding and in many cases how well one is able to feed. A poor diet leads to less self control obviously."
?
"I don't think that's what she meant," Franceska said.
?
"Someone is lying, and as we were the ones to be attacked, I'm getting really pissed."
?
"Or perhaps there are different breeds of vampire," Vlad said.
?
"This is a thing I have been told, but I have yet to encounter one who I felt to be different."
?
?
?
I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
I get along with the voices inside of my head.
