My next project on my mini lathe is adding ball bearing? on my cross slide and power feed.?

After that DC drive to carriage.

Dose any have photos or drawings the post.

That uses a direct drive dc motor, would that work for CNC??

No. That article was just about adding a power feed to the mini-mill. You need stepper motors or servo motors for CNC, because you need to maintain absolute known position.?

Thanks Bruce, that is what I thought. Now has anyone built a drive with steppers? I'd like to see how you set it up.
