What is a "digital motor"? As far as I'm aware, here in Australia the C3P has a 350w brushed motor and the SC3 has a 500w brushless motor. I have not heard of anyone having to replace the brushless

Don't forget after you have bought the lathe you will need tools, cutting and measuring equipment, this can add up to quite a bit, but at least you can buy them as you need them.
