Re: Grizzly is doing better - I hope!!!
The good old days are a distant memory. I have had them reject coupons in the store so I don't ask anymore. If your store will let you use it, go for it, but mine won't.

Re: Grizzly is doing better - I hope!!!
On this group (and/or the group that preceded it) I recall at least once somebody saying a store was willing to honor the 25% coupon even though it was an "excluded" item. I also recall something

Re: LMS Hand Wheel X/Y DROs
Thanks, y¡¯all! I was calibrating my TouchDRO app using a new Dial Indicator and using the 10yr-old LMS X-axis rotary encoder DRO and wondering which to believe! I think I¡¯m able to trust my newly

Re: Chris from Clickspring just dropped an new Antikyhera fragment video

Re: Grizzly is doing better - I hope!!!
The current coupons and the exceptions is one reason I no longer really pay attention to them. Also the reason my buying from hf has come to a near stop. Once in awhile but not as before. The most

Re: LMS Hand Wheel X/Y DROs
Hi, Bret; as Brian noted, you still need to take backlash into account, which is one reason I added the iGaging scaled to my 7x16. They can also slip/skip if you turn the hand wheels too fast (most

Re: DC power supply grounding
Appreciate everyone's thoughts. On the diagram I posted, that emergency switch has traditional spade connectors. So one easy fix is to just swap the white and black connectors, putting the fuse on

Re: DC power supply grounding
Breaking the high side line and not the neutral was painfully demonstrated to me years ago. My M-in-L needed me to drill a hole and handed me her ancient Sears 1/4" all metal drill. When I let go of
