I don't know whpo came up with the
tension adjustment as it's a real PITA, thankfully you
don't need to do it very often - I've done
mine twice in nine years. once in initial set up and the
second when a faulty motor drive gear broke.
Mine kept slipping so that's when I built that saddle out of what I
had laying around.??? Adjusting was easy and it hasn't moved since.
