I recently ordered 2 bimetal blades (10-14 pitch) for my HF
bandsaw. When I called to check on the order, I decide to add a
coarse blade for cutting some 3/4 inch plate for an upcoming
project.
When I stopped in to get the blades, the counterperson at the
welding
shop said he did not order the coarse blade. He said that when he
called the blade supplier, he was told that a coarse blade on a
small
saw could cause the motor to overheat. Anyone have anything to
say
on
this? It sounds possible, but who knows?
