Re: Blade tracking

I also found that the tension affects the tilt of the wheel because of slight deformations at different tensions.? If my tension is off substantially from where I set everything up, the blade will creep off.? My blade does not track all the way onto the bottom wheel; it's always hanging about 1/4 off.? If I try to fix that, the blade comes off.? This is not a perfect bandsaw, but I've made mine work for me very well in spite of its drawbacks.

The difference is that the woodworking bandsaw has rubber "tires" on the
wheels, while the 4x6 has bare cast iron. Even so, most people leave the blade
tension set high even with rubber tires on the wheels.
??? Sounds as if you changed the tilt of the wheels. The manual tells how to
adjust the tilt.
