Re: Uploading Photos and Files to [email protected].
Most of the material is in files, only 204mb in photos. Personally, I like higher resolution photos. I get more info from them. Naturally, YMMV. William R. Meyers, MSgt, USAF(Ret.) How many of the images are too large ? People often upload images of 2-3 Mb size when they could (should) be resized to, say, 1024 x 768, which usually results in an image of about 200Kb size. Still perfectly viewable at that resolution. Is it feasible to download, resize, and re-upload

Pretty much one or the other. My choice would be to
upgrade the group, but I believe it would be at least $220
per year. The one paid group I own was transferred before
the rush last year, and was grandfathered to the old rate.
Newer groups cost more because Mark Fletcher had to buy a
lot of new server space because there was so much demand and
such a short deadline.?
I can probably afford to kick in a fiver to upgrade, but
not much more than that, myself. I've spent about $5k on
medical & dental stuff in the past 4 or 5 months, and
looking at about as much again in the next few weeks. So
far.?
My metal shapers group is currently using about 1.5gb for
files and folders. Premium Groups were 10gb back then, 20gb
now. $20/month now, believe you would pay $220/year billed
annually.?
In either case, it needs the owner(s) to deal with it.?

What
does that mean Bill (or anyone who knows)???
1.
Do we have to delete content that is no longer
applicable - I can't even get at stuff I
originated before the
changeover. (Joseph Melhorn and Walter Townsend
are the 'owners' of that now).? A small number of
items could be obvious culls but the rest is,
like, who knows what will be of interest in the
future and we can never get back stuff that gets
deleted.
2.
Do we have to pay for more storage space? - if so,
how do we get that together?
3.
Are there other?options? - jv
