Thanks John Vreede for the manual reference, I'm going thru it now.
You are correct in that the blade does ride against both the top and bottom guide rollers.
I will work on moving them back today.
As to the blade on the top wheel it is definitely riding all the way against the rim of the wheel.
There is a bit of discoloration on the blade so I can see how that pic looks like it's not.
