I recently joined this group hoping to get some feedback on the Contax I outfit i just acquired.
It includes a 1934 Contax I body, 28mm Tessar, f1.5 and f2 50mm Sonnar lenses, 85mm Sonnar, 135 Sonnar and 300mm Tele Tessar K, plus all appropriate viewfinders, lens shades, filters, and film cannisters in plastic cases. In addition it includes a ground glass back with numerous plate holders and Contameter close up set. All in a fitted case of the period.
Is this a unique set or are there more known?
I believe the only missing piece is the diopter holder. This fits onto the accessory shoe and holds tiny corrective lenses in front of the viewfinder. Please help me find this!!
