Hi, All:
I am a serious user of the Tenax II and have run more film through my first Tenax in the last two years than all my other cameras combined. I also tend to pick up odds 'n ends for the Contax. I have used Nikons for over 48 years, and I am the author of the book The Nikon Camera in America, 1946-1953 published by McFarland. Does anyone have a diagram of the lens formula for the 7.5cm Sonnar for the Tenax? Would be the same as the model for the Robot. Simon: What is your latest figure on the number of Tenax II produced? I have several blogs on the Tenax, but need to update them as I learn more. Thank you. WES LODER for e-mail responses, please use my regular e-mail address: MWL2@.... |
Wes, From the 550 records on the Tenax 2 in my database I estimate a total production of 8,500 Tenax 2 in three distinct (by serial number) batches: E.3000 to E.5000 - 2,000 cameras H.74000 to H.77000 ¨C 2,000 cameras J.88000 to J.91500 ¨C 3,500 cameras
I have had a look in my library for a lens diagram for the Sonnar 4/7,5cm lens but so far without success but I will keep looking. Regards, Simon Worsley

Was that a typo on your part?? Adding up 2k+2k+3.5k, I arrive at 7500.? Or did you pad the estimate, as it were, too allow a margin of error? Best regards, -Chris On Wednesday, December 2, 2015, simon_worsley@... [ZICG] <ZICG@...> wrote:

The second batch serial numbers span a range of 3000, so your list should read: E.3000 to E.5000 - 2,000 cameras H.74000 to H.77000 ¨C 3,000 cameras J.88000 to J.91500 ¨C 3,500 cameras On Wednesday, December 2, 2015, simon_worsley@... [ZICG] <ZICG@...> wrote:
