ZENO Festschrift preprints
7
Dear Fellows, We may guess that all of you are curious about when (if at all) the preparation of our joint work, entitled ‘ZENO FESTSCHRIFT: Collection of Articles Dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of ZENO.RU International Project’, will be completed. Well, herewith we categorically confirm that the publication will definitely take place, at the first stage anyway in the electronic form. However, the second stage (print edition) will depend on many factors, one of which, perhaps the most difficult, is financial. We shall hopefully resolve it later, as soon as the electronic version is completed. The work on it is going on, still regretfully not so fast as we all expected first. The material is highly voluminous and diverse, with a huge number of illustrations; this is the reason, among other things, why the editing is progressing with annoying delays. In this connection, taking into account the importance of submitted works, the authors’ desire to promptly present them to the numismatic community and secure the priority of publication, we would suggest the following solution. At the moment, most of the works have gone through one or two stages of proof-reading. We are ready to publish them in a reasonable time, making them available online. These will not yet be the final offprints from a collated digest with end-to-end pagination, but original author's works marked with the date of their receipt by the Editorial Board, thus with a kind of "priority stamp". You will be able to share and discuss them with your colleagues and also send us your suggestions about correcting typos and errors that certainly should be quite a few (if any), given the experience of our authors and the Editorial Board. Before uploading the preprints of your articles online, we will send you those as a Word file to check up, in order to exclude any contingency. Of course, if for whatever reason you disagree with this option and prefer to wait for the official release of the complete digest, please let us know and we will definitely take your wishes into account. Along with this, the work on the layout of the entire collection of articles will continue. Sincerely yours, on behalf of the Editorial Board ― Vladimir Belyaev and Vladimir Nastich 08.04.2024

ZENO FESTSCHRIFT Contents
Dear Colleagues! A lot of time has passed since we announced the collection of materials for the ZENO FESTSCHRIFT. We are grateful to everyone who responded, we received a lot of extremely interesting and important articles on various aspects of Eastern numismatics. Unfortunately, the turbulent nature of the present period to a certain extent slowed down the work on the ZENO FESTSCHRIFT. Nevertheless, the editorial board is working and the edition will definitely see the light of day. At the moment, we are presenting as an announcement the contents of the ZENO FESTSCHRIFT, indicating the authors, titles of articles and annotations to them. First of all, we will complete the electronic version, and then we will explore the possibility of releasing a printed edition. On the first Title pages you see the title of the festschrift. You can already refer to it if you need to indicate the publication in some article (?in print ...?; ?to be published ...?, etc.). On the first Title pages you see the title of the festschrift.
