As part of our?Zen Peacemaker Affiliate social activism, we?are scheduled to serve at the??Food?Bank?Denver warehouse?on April 17 from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM as a group of 8-10 people.?Metro Caring is an anti-hunger organization that serves on many fronts.
No prior training is required. Our ZCD team typically assists in the storeroom by unpacking boxes and stocking shelves for clients. I also would like to bring a friend, Dick Sigler, who has worked with us in the? past at Metro Caring when visiting Denver. (We worked together as counselors? back-in-the-day and he likes to keep active when visiting from his current home in Thailand.) I will send him a copy of the volunteer waiver form when it is? available. Please let me know if this is acceptable and if we can take other steps to be on board.
