...sad to report that Joe's middle son Erich passed away on the 12th Feb due to COVID...the report came to me as a subscriber of the Joe Zawinul page on Facebook, it doesn't say much more, lots of condolences from notable musicians and fans in the thread that followed...

Erich Zawinul 1st Jan 1966 to 12th Feb 2021 ...life is short sometimes...
