and a circa 1950's Freighter..which is the closest to N Scale...but was nearly destroyed by UPS ...though it was sent in the original shipping crate as from Vietnam.
The seller ended up loosing his eBay sales cost....even though I backed him against UPS.

I would have preferred to have it arrive intact.

All the ones sent via USPS arrived intact or nearly so.
The Super Structure can come loose and take out all the rigging.

I measured..they are between 1/144 and 1/220 but mostly around 1/190 Scale.

I change a few doors and add figures.

I am told a Container went from as little as $2300 (prior to covid) to over $20k per shipment.

I bought several Model Ships for between $104 and $250.
?I did not intend to buy so many.
?
Now I see them at $650 and up.
?
There were auctions..where the model began at $100....with very few bidding.
?
Container ships come in all sizes...So simply stripped off the Z Scale Blocks of Colored Woods and replaced with N scale Containers. with magnets in. them.
Simple to change the height of a floor to add taller doors.

Warning...a cat played gravity with one...and it broke in half.
