Heidi update

?hurray!? Heidi saw the eye specialist today & he said the ulcer has healed but the something about the healing process left a divot just above the cornea which we have to watch as it may never heal completely because of her age & being on prednisone. He changed her drops to which she only gets once a day now.? She is still hobbling around in her cast.? We have 6 more weeks to go in that.? Its so miserably hot here! In the 90's & sweltering humidity.? I am hibernating inside for the summer. I go out to water my orchids! I am off today & tomorrow to use up my vacation.? Then Monday I start part time = Mon - Thurs 8:30-2:00.? I hope I can make it on SS & half my regular pay. If not I will have to get another part time job.? No more vacation or sick or holiday pay & he stops the health insurance allowance.
