开云体育Checking in to say hello to everyone.? Any word on Sue? We are doing okay here, but poor Shania has to wear a cone so she won’t lick her itchy paw. ? ? |
开云体育I hope everyone is staying safe with all this covid19 going on. ? They have had sue’s facility on lockdown for a couple of weeks now. ?No visitors what so ever. ?She is not happy that I can not come to see her or help her. ?She calls me about every other day. ?She wants to come home but that is not something that can be done. ?She has deteriorated so far that her care is beyond my capabilities. ?She is loosing her eyesight, totally bedridden and her muscles are so weak she can’t even sit up in bed without aide. ?She has to be bathed, dressed, fed and taken care of by nurses and doctors there 24/7. It is hard not being able to go there and help her. ?The nursing staff there is stretched so thin with all this going on right now and no family help being able to come in. ?She has lost much weight. ?Her heart condition is worse and her kidneys are failing. ?It really is just a matter of time and hard that I can not get there to comfort her. ?I understand they can not take the chance of this thing getting into their facility, but doesn’t make it any easier for me or Sue. ? I am shutting down her email accounts since they are just full of crap emails and spam. ?I have opened a new email for her friends and family if they want to reach out to her, I can pass the info onto her when we talk. Kerri, thank you for updating us on Sue. My heart is breaking as I read this. I know here too the nursing homes allow NO visitors as my good friend cannot see her mother. But sadly it must be this way. I am glad to hear you can be in touch by phone. I am sure that makes her day.? Do tell her I send all my love & think of her everyday.? You take care also.
