In the medical doldrums! Have a pain in the side, doctor thought I’d pulled a muscle but sent me for chest X-ray. His receptionist just rang, he has the result & wants to see me but not urgent. Can’t get an appointment until Thursday. Will worry until then!
Saw the dermatologist this morning & had 3 probable skin cancers removed, one on my face. He pointed out that I have a swollen ankle which I should ask GP about.
Sigh

Sorry to hear that, Beryl. Not a very jolly run-up to Christmas. But it is truly amazing what the docs can fix these days. Hope all goes well on Thursday.

Beryl,
?
At least over here, “see you not urgently” is a enough of a reason to relax til Thursday. I hope the same is true for you and you’re over the assault of losing a little skin, as well.

Sounds like the doc isn’t too worried, so don’t let it get to you. ?Of course, pain is no fun! So glad they took care of the spots of skin cancer. ? Getting it early is key. ? Re: swollen ankle. ?I’d be amazed if I didn’t have one! ? Rest and try to put it out of your mind for now. ?Holiday season stresses seem to bring out all these things.?

Thanks everyone, it was cathartic to tell someone that I was worrying!?
All for nothing, Doctor just wanted to tell me that I had some bone loss in my spine which, since my bone density is good, is due to age & gravity! ?Phew. Now if we can get through the catastrophic fires to have Christmas with daughter & family all will be good. Hugs to you all Beryl

Thank you for letting us know, Beryl. We’re a family of sisters (and Peter) here, and we worry. ? Ann in PA ?
