Thanks for joining this online community! This is a volunteer effort and optional way of staying engaged with Room 19/Teacher Yari's Kindergarten Class 2019-2020.? Our hope is to support one another through the transition to first grade, both emotionally and academically in whatever way we each need.
1 Be Kind and Courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy disagreement is natural, but kindness and compassion are always required.
2 No Hate Speech or Bullying
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying or attacks of any kind aren't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
3 Respect Everyone's Privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.? Any screenshot, share, or quote content from the community must include explicit permission from the original poster first.?
4 No Spam and Easy on Promotion
Overt promotional for self-profit, spam, and irrelevant links aren't allowed.?
As to rule enforcement: at first violation, a poster will be put back to moderation.? A subsequent violation will result in removal from the group.? Members may report a violation to the admins, and admins make joint determination if there's been a violation.? We're all parents in this together, so we hope this doesn't happen.
