hot water
开云体育Recently the gas supply for the hot water heater was turned off. I turned it on, and all is ok, but left it turned off.? Gary reports that they were doing some repairs next door and it was a precaution. So all is good to go with water heater.? I will turn back on when I am next there, or anyone can. Turn the blue valve stem to align vertically with the pipe.? No pilot lights , just on off. ? Small stuff, but all good. ? Jonathan |

Yankee Rowing -- Using Club Oars
If you use Yankee Rowing Club oars, please don't change/adjust the settings on the oars (for the handles, collars, or oar lengths). As the oar charts in the boathouse?note, each pair of club oars has been set to specific measurements--for reasons of safety and so people can use the same oars with the same settings regularly.? If you are having problems with the club oars or need advice regarding oars, please contact Craig at?zzooey@.... Thanks very much. Best, Ernie? |

开云体育Thanks Ernie!? And thanks to Brenda who surfaced this longstanding and recently neglected annual occasion. I think I last did this in 2018 or 19, then we had various family things and the Covid came. So here we are. ? I was reminded in June when, between misplace and replaced mirrors, I managed to pinpoint a speed buoy and ended up in the river. So its good to practice. ? And better with the good company of Yankee folk. Enjoy the water!! ? J ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Ernie Alleva

Paris Olympics

Self Rescue Session
开云体育Hello Fellow Rowers,Would anyone be interested in learning how to self-rescue? ?Now would be the time, warm days, warm water. ?I know I have wanted to learn that to feel more comfortable when I’m out there by myself. ?If anyone else is interested maybe it could be a group exercise. ?Otherwise, if someone could coach me individually I would appreciate that. If anyone else is interested I’d be happy to organize a day and time. Thanks! Brenda Brenda Hayes sundaygreetings.com (413) 658-5071 |
