No problem! Don't bother yourself too much in the search, I often look at ebay too.

I know it's a difficult search, but is there anyone selling an IG 00158 chip ?
No sine wave on a CS60 M board, damn...

Thanks everyone anyway

Hey Scott.?

The Osmose looks very cool and I hope to try it - maybe at NAMM. The Hydrasynth gives you the poly-AT/MPE plus the big ribbon controller plus a great synth engine - all for less $$$.?

How about we get Behringer to take the work they’ve done on the BS80, leave out all the synth guts, and make it a perfect controller!

I had the Roli for a while and also tried the?McMillen Instruments K-Board Pro 4 but I need keys that physically move.?

Hi David!

Have you thought of this controller for the CS-80?

?Hi all!

It's been quite a while but this is some big and great news. ?Cherry Audio just released the GX80 soft synth for Windows and Mac (stand-alone and plug-in). ?It models the CS80 and also adds a bunch of features from the GX1! I've only been using it a short time and don't currently have a poly-aftertouch keyboard (thinking of a Hydrasynth) but it looks and sounds amazing. I've found a bug in their Sustain-II implementation and reported it on their user forum and almost immediately got a reply that the issue was sent to their tech folks. But they did do the ribbon correctly with the usual pitch bend and the special CS80 response. ?I only wish they had added a solo manual channel that could either emulate the GX1's solo or an SY2.

Please check it out and let us all know what you think of it.

Re: CS-80: an "almost" unwanted portamento

I completely agree Tommy.
As I said above, I had already replaced them all (and not with Chinese sub-brands)

Re: CS-80: an "almost" unwanted portamento

Change all the CMOS in the '70 analog synth..

I believe it when you talk about 4011... Among other things, it's not the first time that I happen to see a CMOS that apparently work but don't work completely correct. Then when I think about what they contain I understand that they can also behave like this!

Congratulations!

btw: I think the 4011 is the IC I had to replace the most often in my complete repair history over all devices...

The suspects on the S&H board were the CMOS 4011 or 4016. In the end it was a 4011, it wasn't completely faulty but in the end it made this good joke! Problem solved (I hope!).
