Hope you're well! We will have Vanya sharing research updates in the first half of today's IO?Tea. The second half will be a round table discussion. Additionally, we're happy to have Prof. Charles Hodgson joining the event. Look forward to that and to everyone's comments and feedbacks.

This will be the last session for spring semester's IO tea series. We're glad to see everyone's research making fruitful progress and getting feedback from peers and our faculty guests during the IO tea hours. Thank you all for making this happen!

IO tea this week: updates from Jingyi

 

Hi everyone,

Our first IO tea this summer will meet tomorrow (Tuesday July 9) at 28 Hillhouse Room A106, from 1-2PM. We will have Jingyi presenting progress on her project "Bidding for Reputation". In addition, we're happy to have Prof. Phil Haile joining the discussion. No food will be served but you can bring your coffee & tea to the meeting :)

The schedule for August hasn't been decided yet. If you'd like to share your projects in-progress/proposals/early-stage research ideas, please feel free to add a row in the form attached and suggest a time that works for you.?

Fall semester IO teas; signup for discussion slots

Hope you've had a great summer! Please see arrangements for Fall IO teas below:
?
  1. Time and location: IO teas will meet every two weeks on Mondays 4-5 pm at SOM 1556 (Hundt conference room). The change in meeting frequency is made to balance the workload with the weekly reading group. Please let us know if there is need for extra meetings and we may arrange accordingly.
  2. Organizers: Vanya will join me running IO tea in the fall semester.
  3. Signup for discussion slots: please use the to signup for discussion slots with "title + planned length". We'll also invite faculty members to join our discussion.

Happy New Year! Kyungho and I are thrilled to welcome you back for another semester of IO Tea.

We’ll keep the same location and schedule as last semester: SOM 1556 (Hundt Conference Room) at 4–5pm every other Monday. Our first tea will be on Monday, January 27.
