YAAC On Quadra

Has anybody set up YAAC on one of these little Quadra computers? I understand they are very similar to a RaspberryPi, but there are some differences. I will need to use a software modem as I do not have an available TNC.

"Any day you do not learn one new thing is a wasted day."

Trying to install YAAC on the Quadra following the website instructions. Everything I have found so far basically says "follow the same instructions for RaspberryPi". First roadblock, "Unable to locate package openjdk-8-jre". A Google search tells me I need to install the PPA repository. That errors out as discontinued.

The Quadra looks like it is using the Bullseye release. Is there a different set of instructions for this?

Thanks,

You can use a newer version of the Java runtime. YAAC has been verified to work up to Java 17.

My memory is terrible these days. Making progress, though. Found I could install jdk-11 and got it running. Now to work on configuration.

FYI, I’m running YAAC on Java 20 using the Liberica full jdk on my M1 Mac. Had no issues.
