BEACON only on RF
Would like to send Beacon only on RF port, and not beacon directly on APRS.IS.
But need APRS.IS to be open for IGATE used because it is a DIGI/IGATE. Is there a way, because all my beacon are gate directly on T2 server, would like to see some IGATE or DIGI in my patch from where I'm received. Nice jod for?YAAC,?run perfectly on VM Ubuntu 20.04LTS, ESXI 6.7.0 So many thanks, ve2pcq. |
Yes, you can do this.

What you have to do is have two different beacons (the default one, and another one), and associate one with the RF port and the other with the APRS-IS port. Then disable (not delete) the beacon for the APRS-IS port. This should do what you want, although it will guarantee that m/ filters on your APRS-IS connection won't work (since your associated server won't know your position).
