thanks for pointing out the location of the *.properties files :).
I just downloaded?
YAACsrc_20201013.zip and found the
YAAC_de.properties file. Wow, that's 2000+ lines of terms! In a first step I will concentrate on the main GUI items. The amount of "amenities" in that file seems endless. Most translations there seem to be accurate or at least understable (I found no "frying pan" so far ;) )?
I think the best way is to load the?YAAC.properties and YAAC_de.properties side by side in an Editor/diff-tool, so that I can get the context. From what I see using "Umlaute" (the letters ??¨¹ ???) in that file seems to be no problem.
One question about that Code snipped:

menu.File.Configure.ExpertMode.mnemonics=AKE
It seems the
*memonics=AKE defines the letter "E" of the word "Expertenmodus" as the letter to be used if you use the keys alt+e to select (instead of a mouse click).
I also find "mnemonics=AOH" or similar. Is there a short explanation of the syntax? What das AO*,AK*,AT* mean? I have zero JAVA programming experience¡
