x6100_r1cbu_v0.20.1_sdcard Image with extended 3rd FAT32 partition to 2GB
Dears,
as I had done it for me I would like to share the R1CBU X6100 FW image with you. I have applied the patch 20.1. and extended the third partition to 2GB if someone needed more space as the default configuration of 512MB. The image is published at filetransfer.io under the corresponding link listed below. an alternative file storage link https://gofile.io/d/bZLAml Unfortunately available only for 21 days as I'm not a registered member. Hopefully this image is useful for someone who run in problem to install the 20.1 patch. Image is around 2.7GB and have to be unpacked first form the zip compression. vy73 Markus DL8MBY |

I'm glad to read that this effort was appreciated by others
and reduce the amount of work for you to install the FW with the new patch. Would be fine if someone who has the possibility could transfer the FW image file to the file section of this group as the link will expire in few days in order to host this version for a longer time. Many thanks in advance for doing this fever. vy73 Markus DL8MBY |

a pop-up informed me that I needed to spend money to download. I don't think the link was hi-jacked. I'll look again. On Mon, Mar 25, 2024 at 9:22?AM <markus@...> wrote:

I down loaded the file without any problems. I used Firefox on Raspberry OS. Everything worked fine.

I managed to download before the first link expired and I installed it today on a 32Gb Micro SD card. I used my Windowws 10 computer and the Win32 Disk Imager 1.0 tool to write the image onto the SD-card.
The X610 boots up fine on the card. Boot up is significantly slower than on the factory firmware, but that is probably as expected. I haven't done anything more than verified it boots up, but I will dig in more later. Thanks a lot Markus! /SM0TGY Tobias |
