What power level do I dare use for SSTV

I'd like to try SSTV sending, but not sure what max power to use. ? The transmissions are quite long.
If I have heat sinks with fans, do I need to worry about a long send at 10 watts?

?
I would use NOT more than 3...5 watts !
It`s enough to drive a separate PA with 1..2 Watt input.

I wonder about technical information though. ? If the radio runs just warm to the touch, why worry about the power. I assume the components are rated for 10 watts. ?Usually a manual would have a warning about continuous operation, but I don't see that in the manual for this radio.

From what I have been reading, if you want to not run an external amplifier, I would run 10 watts with the minimum input voltage.? Many report getting 10 watts out with 9V.

I've tried a few DC to DC stepdown transformers, but this one is what I use now. It's finned, no static and runs cool. Perfect 9vdc output from 12vdc battery. And x6100 runs 10 watts no problem with heat.

I burned out the finals on my first 6200 doing 10w on ft8. I would not try 10w. 5w is not going to make a major difference.
