RF power button R1CBU firmware

W9DHI, Gregg Lengling All Messages By This Member #6658 It would be nice if the RF power could be adjusted without leaving the APPs of FT8 ect.? ?When I switch bands I need to change power level for amplifier.? On the lower bands 0.5 watts is enough drive but as I go above 20 I have to start increasing to get the same output.? Right now it's a hassle as it drops you of of FT8 and you end up back on default band ect. ? Thanks, Gregg W9DHI
Georgy Dyuldin All Messages By This Member #6660 Hmmm. I guess it might be tricky. There are no free encoder to bind this function to it. Also, pressing on VOL encoder behaves like escape. Perhaps, I'll find a way how to control it in a handy way without leaving FT8 application, not sure. BTW, I thought I made preserving band while opening FT8 app (if you tuned on 20M - it should open 20M with FT8 too).? -- Georgy // R2RFE
