Port USB DEV

gima81@outlook.com

My Xiegu X6100 has a problem, the USB DEV port is damaged. The internal part of the DEV port needs to be unsoldered and destroys the 3 components surrounded by yellow, blue and black (resistor and/or capacitor) -See attached photo - Does anyone have the electrical diagram of this part and the value of these components?
Without this I can no longer connect the TX to the PC!!
Thank you very much
Marc

Hi Marc,
?
When I look to the high resolution pictures
?
?
and the specification for USB High-Speed
?
?
the resistor value to GND is 15kOhm and to 3V3 1,5kOhm.
I guess the X6100 is a USB 2.0 High Speed and therefore I assume the copper area is 3V3 and the via is GND. May you make a measurement to crosscheck this.
The missing black device above is not a capacitor, it is a ferrit beat as filter for rf noise on the +5V Supply line going to the host device. You can use BLM18AG102SN1 or similar.
?
Hope this helps to repair your unit!

Thank you Thomas for all this information, but I have just received from a reliable source the value of the destroyed components. I am attaching the corresponding pdf with the value of these components. the ULCE0505A015FR is an RF suppressor as you said in your message. The resistor box is 0603 and the RF supressor box is 0402. I have ordered the components and am looking forward to troubleshooting the Tx. 73 Mark
