Noise level out of control

Nemury KQ4WGS All Messages By This Member #6651 X6100 on 10m with a Dummy load noise level is at S3 is I press PPT when I let go Noise level jump to S6 to S9 for a second them goes back to S3 is that normal? Nemury KQ4WGS All Messages By This Member #6654 Thanks you Ranier for the answer I did try with AGC A/S/F and it is actually worst, I have use the Radio twice. I notice yesterday on a Pota Activation, I had hell of a time trying to get the Call sign for the incoming station due to this issue. Never the less I did try again switching the AGC with not luck... ? 73 KQ4WGS Nemury
