It all depends on mDNS settings on your router. Some routers might not support it, so the only way to connect might be to use IP address instead W dniu ?r., 4 gru 2024 o 15:58 Georgy Dyuldin via <g.dyuldin=[email protected]> napisa?(a):

Hi Gregg,
Run an IP scanner (I use Angry IP on Windows). If you don't find port 80 discovered as open for your device IP address, which means the webserver is running, then you won't be able to connect. ?

I could connect to the webserver in my X6100 first try. My setup: USB C port replicator with Ethernet port (LogiLink UA0283 v2) connected to my router (Fritz!Box 7490). Clock sync also worked automatically. Saving the database to my laptop worked well, viewing the contents was done with , no installation necessary - it works within a tab of your browser. Modification of the band limits also went well - minor problem: I could set the preferred mode for the 70MHz band, but it did not show in the web server - it set it to the correct mode, but the tab showed a blank. Params.db seems to be correct (is there a table which number corresponds to which mode?).
?
All in all, Georgy does a great job improving the X6100! Thanks again!

There might be another possibility. Some (many?) routers have Wireless feature called Isolation or Client Separation. If enabled, WiFi clients can "talk" ONLY to Access Point (internet) and NOT between each other - PC or laptop connected to such AP has no way to X6100. Switching PC/laptop to ETH, other AP on local net or disable Isolation might help. |
