Faulty VFO encoder repaired

Keith G8IXN All Messages By This Member #6590 Try to keep it short.? Bought a radio with duff encoder, 6 pin FFC connector badly damaged by a previous owner. Sent tiny board away to a guy to replace the connector so could then fault find with a breakout board. One of the 74HC single inverters was faulty ,so the off to the smd guy again with spare inverters,came back fitted now have good encoder. Was using the radio via remote software & fist mic to get by.? Keith G8IXN
