CW filter question

Adjustment of the DSP filters adjusts width and shift at the same time. ?I'm used to having width and shift as separate controls.
Can something help me understand what this adjustment is doing? ?What am I missing?
Tnx

In the standard firmware, the filters are really made strangely. In fact, these are two consecutive BPFs. Those. only the part where the two filters intersect is passed. In an alternative firmware, I made a classic version where the upper and lower bandwidth limits are set.
