By the way, in the firmware for TRX Brass I moved the creation
of GUI elements to Python scripts and now anyone can easily change the location
and colors of the elements to their taste.

Franco, thanks for getting me looking in the right direction. After some
trial and error it came down to rebuilding the kernel, uboot, and x6100_gui. Now
the boot logo is fixed.

If anyone wants to try it, i uploaded my color changes and sdcard.img

The CW-side-tone frequency is very difficult to set .
Sometimes it change the frqueny and most times nothing happen when rotate
the encoder.

Thanks for trying it, and glad some like the color changes. As for the CW
side tone, that's above my coding knowledge. I never noticed as i don't use CW.
It would have to be fixed in the mainline code (Franco's and/or Georgy's git
repository) in order for me to apply the changes.
