BRAND NEW TO ALL OF THIS- can someone give me directions to set up and make ft8 decode?

 

been ham over 50 yrs this new style rig as well as digital is new
so could someone direct me to directions please

Check out a video by Josh Hayes at: .? It uses Flrig and Wsjt-x.? I just got it figured out a couple of weeks ago to use FT8 and need to figure out how to use Fldigi and JS8Call.

i guess i should have said how to make the 6100 decode ft8

Install R1CBU version, go to apps, sync time with WI-FI, run FT8.
 

tnx, easy, made contacts automatically and screen said logged- BUT WHERE TO FIND THE LOG?
IT WAS FUN SEEING THIS LITTLE RIG DO THIS

Open file in Wsjt-x and open the log directory and open the log file.? You can upload the log directly to QRZ.

Using FT8 APP in the R1CBU firmware, adi log file is in DATA partition on SD-card in the X6100.
When radio is powered off, put card in external reader and copy.
