R1CBU FT8

Just wondering if the signal reports on FT8 are correct or is it just the software is not able to decode below -11.? -11 seems to be the weakest signals I can receive.? If I switch and run WSJT I can get decoded reports of -22.
?
Inquiring minds would like to know.
?
However I just love be able to run FT8 and FT4 in a single radio unit including logging.? Love it and use it a lot.

I just received a -18 with v 28.

Gregg,
you may want to read this message that John Seamons (ZL/KF6VO, of KiwiSDR fame) recently posted to the NextGenSDRs group about the difference in performance (and usage of CPU resources) between ft8lib and WSJT-X: /g/NextGenSDRs/message/2735
The CPU resource comparison by Howard Su is also interesting: /g/NextGenSDRs/message/2737
?
I imagine their considerations for the Web-888 also apply to low power CPUs like the one inside the X6100.

I tried to launch WSJT-x based code and it takes about 15 seconds to decoding on x6100.
Also I measured quality of ft8lib - it can decode ~ 80% of messages from results of WSJT-x.
Regarding SNR - WSJT-x and ft8-lib uses different logic to calculate SNR - so values might vary.
