First, let me compliment Oleg for all the work he's done to support the X6100.? When I first saw the transverter option I thought (since the radio is SDR) that the radio was capable of actually transmitting on either 144, or 440.? I now come to find that I would need an external transverter to use these bands.? Someone else commented that the use of a transverter was always an option?? Can someone here explain this to me.? Can someone clarify what the settings in the firmware do, and how to use them?

This function automatically recalculates the frequency for transverters. In general, this function is purely for convenience. But several people persistently asked and I did it.

That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure.? I know that some people have unlocked the radio allowing it to transmit on other frequencies.? ?
