wfserver can be combined with wfview? (forum.wfview.org, wfview.org)? to control the 6100 remotely.
wfview is open source software that comes will all the parts and instructions to build.
(wfview itself works on many icom radio's)

Ron,
On the page that opens, on the top menu, all the way to the right end of the menu, if you highlight that item, you will have the option to select English for the page and all other pages from that one.
However, when I tried to download the zip file, Google or Firefox won't allow it.
(It's actually Chinese.)

Works here with wfview.
Notes: Make sure the IP address is using the correct subnet and in wfview setup use the IP address in the host name field.

USB CAT is not running in Firmware 1.1.7
No Cat Controll over USB-C enabled.
It looks like a Developer Firmware for WFView and not ready for Customers.

You do know that the WF in WFView stands for WiFI.

do1hfs is correct,with this new firmware, they have broken USB CAT control, Yes wfview using WiFi now working, but you can not use say ham radio deluxe using the USB port, I hope they will fix this problem, I will test with Bluetooth, Thanks Dave 2E0DMB

Wow Dave, with all the other un-fixed problems you are certainly remaining positive with Xiegu. They have a lot of work yet to do but release new firmware that doesn’t alter any of the existing issues. That should tell us something about Xiegu thought processes.

I think I'm going to get rid of all of my Xeigu products.? This release is disheartening. I have no confidence at all in their enthusiasm for the X6100 when it could be the greatest rig they've ever designed.

Been there, done that with G90 and GSOC. Now I have a 5105 I hope to sell tomorrow at the Cincinnati Hamfest and a 6100 just for kicks. I keep saying no more Xiegu but still get drawn back in, like Michael Coreleone.?

We all agree but they won’t do that. They have never opened their firmware as it would create competitors in China.
