Or is it all a swerve? ======================================================== //->> NEWS FROM THE WRESTLING-ONLINE NEWSWIRE Web version at WWE TO CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF THE NEW DAY- WWE will be celebrating the 10th year anniversary of The New Day live tonight on Monday Night Raw, a team which over the past decade has dominated the WWE tag team division as well as the singles division, at least for two of them in particular. The trio made their debut as The New Day on the November 28, 2014 episode of Smackdown after they were formed a few months earlier in the year. Together, they have a total of 12 tag team title reigns spanning across Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, not to mention singles title runs for Kofi Kingston and Big E as WWE champions and Xavier Woods as King of the Ring in 2021. Unfortunately, the trio was slimmed down to a duo after Big E suffered a broken neck during an episode of Smackdown in March 2022 and things haven't been great between Kofi and Xavier, especially the last several months. Big E has yet to return to the ring although he has been a constant on panels at pre-shows for WWE premium live events. If he appears on tonight's Raw remains to be seen, but it's hard to celebrate The New Day without Big E! Speaking of Big E, the former WWE champion penned a beautiful article for The Players Tribune for this special occasion titled Sour which you can read at . RAW-RELATED VIDEOS ON PEACOCK EXPIRING IN 29 DAYS- All the Monday Night Raw episodes dating back from the first one on January 11, 1993, are set to expire from Peacock in 29 days. At the end of December, everything related to Raw in the United States will cease to exist on the streaming service as Raw moves to Netflix in January 2025. This is due to the new contract WWE has with Netflix and follows what the company did with NXT when it moved from USA Network to The CW. Old episodes of NXT remain locked in the vault as only new episodes are available for viewing on The CW app. Peacock will also no longer have re-runs of new episodes of Raw as those will be available on Netflix with a subscription moving forward. WWE fans in other countries around the world will lose the whole WWE Network and its content at the end of this month as well as the Network shuts down with selected content moving to Netflix. It remains to be seen if Netflix in the U.S. will upload all the old episodes of Raw but it looks like WWE is holding back on their video library for the next highest bidder. WWE will remain on Peacock in the United States until 2026. MOANA 2 WITH THE ROCK SMASHES THANKSGIVING WEEKEND RECORDS- Disney's Moana 2, featuring the voice of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Maui, had a $135.5 million opening in the United States this Thanksgiving weekend. The movie was released on Wednesday on Thanksgiving Eve and had an additional $85.5 million for that day and Thanksgiving, sending its domestic total to $221 million. Internationally, the movie had an additional $165.3 million for a worldwide box office revenue of $386.3 million according to BoxOfficeMojo.com. This beats Moana's original release which had a Thanksgiving weekend opening of $66,561,040. Moana 2 also broke records for the biggest Thanksgiving weekend opening ever. Johnson's other movie, Red One, was #4 on the box office chart and November marked a good month for The Rock, having two #1 movies. NIKKI GARCIA SPEAKS ABOUT DIVORCE- Addressing her divorce publicly for the first time, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia said that she needed time away from everything to protect her son and heal following months-long issues with her now ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev. Garcia was speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show podcast, returning to the show for the latest episode after several weeks out. "It’s been really tough. I’ve been heartbroken...sad," Nikki told her sister. "You know, you dream of having this family and you have this incredible love and it just goes the other way. And you go from having a great love story to having a terrible one." Nikki admitted that it has been a big struggle for her as she never imagined she would have that ending although she played up things a lot better than what they were in public, something which she now regrets doing. She said that her son deserves the greatest dad ever and she will not be dragging her ex-husband in the mud because that's not what Matteo needs or deserves. "You fight for your kids, you want to stick together because that’s what the kids want. And I tried really hard," Nikki said. She added that she's been finding it tough without her son now that they have shared custody of him and she's never been at home without him before. "Really, really hard...very emotional. Even yesterday. I cry every time he leaves." You can listen to it at ALL IN: TEXAS PRE-SALE KICKS OFF- The pre-sale for All In: Texas started this morning on Ticketmaster using the code TIX5TX.
