//->> NEWS FROM THE WRESTLING-ONLINE NEWSWIRE
Web version at

SMACKDOWN RATING
- Smackdown last Friday night with the surprise return of CM Punk drew 1,578,000 viewers, up 344,000 viewers from last week's broadcast. The show had a 0.46 rating in 18-49, up 0.14 from the prior week and was #1 not only on cable but in all of television, beating NBA on ESPN and college football on FOX. It was the best number since October 11. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)

TWO MATCHES ADDED TO SURVIVOR SERIES
- Two new matches were added to this weekend's Survivor Series card, with the show now up to the usual five matches. The Intercontinental title will be on the line in a triple threat match as champion Bron Breakker will defend against Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser. Plus, LA Knight will defend the United States title against the recently-returned Shinsuke Nakamura. These two matches join the two WarGames and Gunther vs Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight title.

WOMEN'S INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE UNVEILED
- As expected, another mid-card title has been introduced for the Raw women, with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce unveiling the WWE Women's Intercontinental title which will be exclusive to the red brand. This follows the introduction of the Women's United States title over at Smackdown two weeks ago. The Women's Intercontinental title features the same design as the men's title but with a white strap instead. A tournament will kick off to crown the inaugural champion, similar to what is being done on Smackdown. The final for the Smackdown Women's United States title will be held on Saturday Night's Main Event. No date has been given as to when the final for the Women's Intercontinental title will be held yet.

JADE CARGILL OUT FOR MONTHS WITH INJURY
- Jade Cargill is expected to be out of action for several months which is why she was written off television in that fashion last week on Smackdown. Cargill was taken out and left lying on the hood of a car with its windshield broken. Footage aired during the triple threat match in the tournament for the Women's United States title and it caused Bianca Belair to abandon the match to go check on her tag team partner. The real reason why Cargill is out remains a tight-lipped secret although it was noted that Cargill has an injury which is serious enough to get her written off. In a social media post, WWE said that Cargill is suffering from "deep lumbar paraspinal muscle contusions, bruised kidney, sprained MCL in her right knee, tibial plateau bone bruise of her right knee, and facial lacerations." Cargill is one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team champions with Bianca Belair. No news on what's going to happen to the titles has been announced yet although this continues the curse of the
se particular titles where almost every champions had to surrender due to an injury.

MAX BLACK FRIDAY DEAL AHEAD OF AEW DEBUT
- After Peacock dropped its Black Friday deal yesterday where you can get a year-long subscription for just $19.99 and enjoy all the WWE shows, Warner Bros. Discovery's Max is also having its own Black Friday deal. AEW will debut on Max in January where Dynamite and Collision will simulcast on the streaming service and AEW pay-per-views will come to the service later in the year. New and returning subscribers can now get Max for just $2.99 per month for the first six months, that's a savings of $7 per month since the cheapest subscription is $9.99 a month. The subscription will get you access to everything that Max has apart from AEW shows. The limited deal is available starting now through Monday, December 2. You can go to to subscribe.

YOUNG BUCKS TO GO FOR IWGP TAG TEAM TITLES
- The Young Bucks' involvement at the upcoming Wrestle Dynasty show in Tokyo became more clear after the former AEW Tag Team champions had a promo aired during the NJPW World Tag League show. In the promo, which aired in the arena as well, The Young Bucks said that before they retire, they want to accomplish one more thing, and that's getting the IWGP Tag Team titles back around their waist one more time. "Tokyo, your rich God-fearing uncles are coming back," Matt Jackson said. "See you soon!" The current IWGP Tag Team champions, Great-O-Khan and HENARE, accepted The Bucks' challenge for the January 5 show. The duo have not wrestled in Japan since 2019. Wrestle Dynasty is NJPW's version of The Forbidden Door and will also involve AEW, CMLL, ROH, and Stardom.

AEW GRAND SLAM: AUSTRALIA MOVING TO DIFFERENT LOCATION
- Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting that AEW is likely to make an announcement very soon moving the Grand Slam: Australia show from the Suncorp Stadium to a different location. Ticket sales for the show have been bad and with the stadium holding over 50,000 seats, it was not going to be a good look to hold it there. This comes after AEW President Tony Khan mentioned during the press call ahead of Full Gear that the company sold "thousands" of tickets for Grand Slam in Brisbane but said that it might not be a pay-per-view offering due to the time difference. The Ticketek website selling Grand Slam: Australia tickets only had limited seats available after most sections were blocked off lately, preventing fans from buying seats. It's unclear if the event will still take place in Brisbane or it's even moving cities.

RAMPAGE RATING
- Rampage on TNT drew 249,000 viewers last Friday, up 63,000 viewers from the prior week and the best number since October 11. The show had a 0.09 rating in 18-49, up 0.03 from the previous show and was #10 on the top 50 cable chart for the night. (Ratings credit: Programming Insider)
