The tournament was a big hit last year, even in terms of viewership, and ultimately had Eddie Kingston win the inaugural Continental Crown, a short-lived triple crown involving the AEW Continental title, the ROH World title, and the NJPW Strong title. The titles have since been split up again following Kingston's individual losses for each title. This year's Continental Classic is expected to follow last year's format, with a total of 12 stars split in two groups. Each wrestler will wrestle five times and will get three points for a pin and one for a draw. The winners of each group will then face each other to win the tournament. FOUR AEW STARS TO WRESTLE AT CMLL SHOW- Four AEW stars will be participating on the December 13 CMLL show at Arena Mexico. The Mexican promotion announced that Toni Storm, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Red Velvet will all be in action in a month's time as the two promotions continue their partnership. Storm and Velvet will tag team to battle La Catalina and Tessa Blanchard. Castagnoli takes on Hechicero while PAC faces Volador Jr. The former AEW Women's champion Toni Storm wrestled last month at a CMLL show and lost to Catalina, vowing to return for revenge. DECEMBER 7 COLLISION MOVED TO NEW LOCATION- AEW issued a press release announcing that for the first time, Collision will be held in partnership with GalaxyCon Columbus on Saturday, December 7 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. This replaces the planned Collision at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, which was canceled earlier in the day. Tickets for AEW Collision at GalaxyCon Columbus will go on sale this Saturday, November 16 at 2 PM ET via AEWTix.com and GalaxyConColumbus.com. All fans that purchased tickets for AEW Collision at Nationwide Arena will be automatically refunded. MORE MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR FULL GEAR- A couple of more matches have been announced for the upcoming AEW Full Gear pay-per-view. Malakai Black and Brody King advanced to the AEW Tag Team title four-way match after they defeated FTR last night on Dynamite. They now join champions Private Party and The Outrunners in the match, with one more spot available. Roderick Strong earned a match against MJF after he successfully defeated Lance Archer in a falls count anywhere match on Dynamite as well. Adam Cole lost his chance after he lost to Konosuke Takeshita, failing to get the most wins out of three matches as per the stipulation that MJF put up in order to face him at the pay-per-view. Also announced is a battle between Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher. The two were members of the United Empire together but that changed when Fletcher exited the group last month to join the Don Callis family. NXT RATING- NXT this week drew a total of 631,000 viewers, up 12,000 viewers from last week's episode which aired on a Wednesday head-to-head with AEW. The show had a 0.16 rating in 18-49, a drop of 0.01 from last week.
