//->> OPENING WORDS FROM THE EDITOR

Really enjoyed NXT last night and the venue looked cool. Too bad next week it's back at the WWE PC.

STEPHANIE VAQUER MAKES FIRST IN-PERSON APPEARANCE ON NXT
- Stephanie Vaquer made her first in-person appearance in NXT last night, aligning herself with Giulia in their battle against NXT Women's champion Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade. Giulia interrupted Perez and Jade during their in-ring segment, with Jade inviting her to the ring. Giulia, who stayed on the entrance ramp, looked back and Vaquer made her way out. The two sprinted to the ring and beat up Perez and Jade. With the NXT Women's title left in the ring, Giulia and Vaquer both picked it up from the mat and stared down the champion. Vaquer will make her in-ring debut next week when she wrestles Wren Sinclair. You can see her arrival at .

RANDY ORTON PRAISED AFTER MID-AIR RKO BOTCH BY JE'VON EVANS
- The main event match on NXT last night featured Randy Orton taking on Je'Von Evans and the match was trending for all the wrong reasons at first: a botched RKO. Evans went to hit his finishing move which is a corkscrew splash and Orton was supposed to counter it in mid air with an RKO. Unfortunately, the timing was not there and Evans was short and Orton RKO'd just air. Orton then stood up and hit a standing RKO on Evans to finish him off. After the three-count and some posing, Orton helped Evans up to his feet, who apologized for the botch. "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry," Evans said looking straight at Orton. "It's alright. You're the f*cking man," Orton responded as he held Evans' hand up. The post-match received a lot of positive feedback from fans, who appreciated Orton and noted his maturity and his long way from when he called Kofi Kingston "stupid" multiple times for botching a spot back in 2009. NEW NXT NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION CROWNED ON NXT
- Oba Femi's record-breaking 273-day reign as NXT North American champion came to a halt last night on NXT as "The Don" Tony D'Angelo beat the Nigerian star in a fantastic match on the CW. Femi originally won the title on January 9 after he cashed in his Breakout Tournament contract, beating Dragon Lee. Since then, Femi had successfully retained the title in all his title defenses but last night, the Illinois native D'Angelo managed to win his first singles title in NXT, becoming the 19th different NXT star to win the title. D'Angelo won the match after he was set up for a powerbomb by Femi but managed to turn it into a sunset flip for the surprise three-count.

NXT RESCHEDULES WEEKEND LIVE EVENTS IN FLORIDA
- The non-televised NXT live events which were scheduled for this weekend have been postponed due to Hurricane Milton. The hurricane is making landfall soon in the state of Florida and just like TNA two weeks ago, the shows had to be rescheduled for a later date. The October 11 live event which was set to take place at the St. Petersburg Armory in St Petersburg has now been postponed to Friday, December 20. The next day's show on October 12 from the Engelwood Neighborhood Center in Orlando is now taking place on Saturday, November 2. All the talent who participated on last night's NXT on CW also remained in St. Louis and did not travel to their home base in Florida due to the hurricane. PWInsider.com says that some officials, including Matt Bloom, stayed behind to hang out with them. CM Punk was also at the tapings and traveled with the crew on their bus.

RAW RATING
- The first two-hour Raw since 2012 this week drew 1,545,000 viewers, up slightly by 29,000 viewers compared to the prior week. Comparing the first two hours only to last week, it would be down by 15,000 viewers despite coming off the Bad Blood premium live event. The first hour of Raw drew 1,571,000 viewers and the second hour followed with 1,520,000 viewers, with once again the highest-rated segment being the CM Punk one with over 1.7 million viewers. In 18-49, Raw had a 0.47 rating and was 0.01 down from last week. It was #3 on cable behind the NFL and MLB games which drew 15.8 and 3.4 million viewers respectively. WILLOW NIGHTINGALE GETS AEW WOMEN'S TITLE SHOT
- Willow Nightingale earned herself an AEW Women's title shot last night on Dynamite Title Tuesday after she won a four-way number one contenders match. Nightingale was supposed to take on Britt Baker in a regular one-on-one machine but it was announced that Baker was ill and was not able to make it to the show. Instead, a four-way match with Nightingale, Saraya, Nyla Rose and Jamie Hayter was booked, a match which the former TBS champion won after she pinned Saraya following a DVD through a table. While celebrating on the ramp, AEW Women's champion Mariah May showed up and repeatedly whipped her with the title.

DANIEL GARCIA STAYING IN AEW
- In his first appearance since All Out, Daniel Garcia announced on Dynamite last night that he has decided to stay in AEW because that is where the best wrestle. Garcia lost his match to MJF during last month's pay-per-view but got the last laugh when he piledrived MJF from the second rope. Rumors were that Garcia had not signed his deal yet so the powers that be were reluctant in giving him the victory. There were also rumors that WWE were interested in his services and with no deal signed, AEW decided to keep him off television until a decision was made. Garcia appeared in jeans, white shirt, and a Steve Austin-like vest and promised that everyone will see a new Daniel Garcia, one who does not cry or complain whenever he loses a match, but a Daniel Garcia which AEW builds its future on.

MR. MCMAHON NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY #6 GLOBALLY IN WEEK 2
- The Mr. McMahon documentary on Netflix dropped to #6 on the global Netflix chart in its second week, with 3,400,000 viewers and 19,500,000 hours consumed. In the major markets, the documentary was #4 in the United States, #7 in the United Kingdom, #4 in Canada, #4 in Australia, #9 in India, and #9 in Italy. Interestingly enough, the series did not crack the top #10 in Japan and Mexico, two countries where professional wrestling and WWE are popular.
