Flrig required?
#CWTYPE
#fldigi

I'm trying to learn about FLDIGI. Am I required to use FLRIG? I tried to use FLDIGI stand alone, Hamlib and IC7610, it will change / show frequency and modes, but nothing is transmitted. I don't think I need to use any of the other FLDIGI files, if so please let me know. I'm also getting WinKeyer and will have to set that up later on.
?
Thanks for your time on this.

I chose to include FLRIG along with FLDIGI? You set up FLRIG and then opt to have FLDIGI as it's client. I also am not sure that FLRIG is required, but have not tried FLDIGI alone On Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 10:56?AM Claude Benoit VE6GTX via <Isphotoman=[email protected]> wrote:

Claude, You don't need Flrig for the IC7610 but it is really nice to have it running along side Fldigi. Fldigi has Rigcat and Hamlib you can use for CAT control.? Before you connect if not already done, download the IC7610 driver from ICOM Japan website, and selected the proper audio Rx and TX in Fldigi. In Flrig you just need to make sure you select the correct Port and speed (19200) etc, it has to be same in the radio and also on the device driver. Let me know if you have any questions. -Arvind?
