Fldigi K4D Bandwidth Control

 

I can't seem to get the bandwidth setting to control my K4D. ?Everything seems to work, just not the Bandwidth. ?
Dave can you shed some light on this? ?
Is there something missing out of the xml file?

Several people I have contacted using the K4D are experiencing the same issue.

Using what CAT mode?? RigCat, FLRig?

I'm using "RigCat" mode. ?I'm not using "FLRig". ?I'm not sure but I don't believe I should have to.

Try the attached XML file to replace your K4.xml

Looks like the BW set command was wrong.

I assume it's reading BW OK?

Ok Mike..
I have accomplished changing the K4.XML file and it did not change anything.
I can still control all features except the bandwidth.
The mode I'm checking in is "data". ?No control over bandwidth there.

It is reading bandwidth, If I switch from Data (set to 3Khz) to CW it will show 300Hz in Fldigi.
If I try to adjust the bandwidth from within the Data mode, it does allow me to change in the Fldigi dropdown, but it does not follow the change in the K4D.
This is the same issue when in CW mode too. ?Reads it from the K4D, but won't change the K4D from Fldigi.

This sounds very familiar to a problem I’m experiencing on my Yaesu FT – 450D.

It may not be related: it’s entirely possible it’s a coincidental similarity. But maybe not, so I thought I’d note this.

The attached file is not downloading for me - just get a yellow screen. Is there another source for it?

I'm having the same bandwidth control issue with my K4D and RigCAT.? Fldigi reads the bandwidth setting from the radio but is not able to change it.? The K4.xml file that Mike offered last March is not downloading for me.? Did that work for folks?? Can I get another download link?

Not a huge deal but it would be helpful if I could get it working via Fldigi.? I'm often operating "kitchen-remote" with a screen share app so would need to fire up Win4K4 to make bandwidth changes and would prefer to keep it simple by just using Fldigi.
