Clear Entry when Log QSO

 

My Fldigi has stopped clearing the entry windows when I log a contact.? The contact logs but the data remains.? Easy fix is manual erase but would like to have the convenience back of log-clear in the same step.? Am not finding a setting that affects this in the manual, the reflector or in Fldigi- config or Fldigi-Logbook.? Have View>Rig/Log Controls on Full but doubt that should have an effect.

Never heard on the question of the entry fields not clearing when logging the contact.? Any help out there on what setting could be messed up??

You should check
Configure -> Config Dialog -> QSO Logging
and make sure that "Clear on save" is checked.

Look in the commands list for the function keys.

There are some that say stuff like <CLEAR> or similar .
Add that in the function that says <LOG>

I had looked in the logging menu several times looking for something like that, and after seeing all the logging program options there I had assumed "QSO logging" at the bottom was the name of another logging program of which I was not aware.? Bad assumption.
