Hmm - did have <# TXRSID:on> in my macro (which should mean that it isn't executed, right?) but I removed that line all together and it is still behaving this way.
The only button I have turned on at the top right in FlDigi is "Spot"...

I am not sure if I mentioned this in my original post but I'm using FLRIG to control my rig (so I can control it remotely) - if I use it's CW Keyer - the radio pulses the signal rather than keeping the transmitter on and playing the tone thru the integrated sound card as well?
