This is a fun topic.? I agree some mods are very reasonable, safety and all is paramount!!!!
?
Even though my wagon looks very much original.? Dash looks original, but fresh paint, axles have the 5x5.5 tires at the original width, nice original trim, Original spit windshied and sliding center windows, original push button door latches,
ect.,.,? ?It does have a 1989 Corvette engine, NV4500 5 speed, Dana 300 twin sticks transmission, Dana 44 axles, Heim joint rock crawler steering arms, power steering and power brakes, Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks, disc front brake and drum back brakes, old
style looking retrosounds radio with Bluetooth technology, old original heater knobs with new Customs cool heater / AC system ,( even though I still have to hook up the hoses from the front, lol), etc. .? ?. . .?? It is a total blast to drive.? My wife still
thinks it is too noisy though.
?
I bought this ready to go into the crusher and am glad it is driveable.
?
As always, I do and always have appreciated the input from this group.
?
